See All ReviewsAs Hilton Honors members, I was curious about this boutique hotel next door to a short term rental I was staying in. We had dinner on Sunday evening 12/28/2025. Only slightly surprised by not one person drinking or dining at any of the restaurants or bars, we decided to give it a go anyway. Our server was delightful, the food without complaint, the menu posted online completely different than what was offered. Except for really awkward forks (you have to be there), how did the management manage to completely turn us off to this hotel? Beware of the 18% MANDATORY SERVICE CHARGE added to your bill. $116 for 2 filet steak dinners + a $44 bottle of wine + mandatory $19.99 gratuity. We would have TIPped $30 on this tab but if TIP is added, I am annoyed and we go with the policy. We tipped generously throughout COVID because we felt sorry for the service industry. However, we created a monster. We created entitlement. Dear Management: In case you are unaware, TIP means To Insure Promptness. As faithful Hilton members, we will not be back to a Blossom Hotel in any town. Your parking fees are annoying at all of your hotels now. You’re starting to lose me all the way around.
We had an excellent experience! Oscar was one of best waitstaff we have ever had, and is the main reason for the review. The food was also excellent, we had dumplings and a breakfast croissant that were both great!
This amazing location reopened today, August 19, 2024 as a breakfast restaurant. OMG! The transformation was well worth the wait. The amazing staff Jennifer, August, and Chef Mohammmed, made this breakfast experience the best one ever. The ambience was both relaxing as well as romantic. From the soft pink flowers to the bold hunter green coffee cups, it is masculine and feminine energy entwined. Jennifer was our server and she was amazing. She was knowledgeable of our food choices as well as intuitive to what we would like. August greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile. He made constant contact to ensure we were enjoying our experience. Chef Mohammed was a genius in the kitchen. He hit every pallet from sweet to salty, heavy to light and literally made our taste buds burst. Although this location is inside the Blossom hotel, I am sure it is a gem in the city of Houston.
